Personalia
Per 1 februari zal Oscar Gelderblom hoogleraar Financial History aan de Universiteit Utrecht zijn. Op 19 februari spreekt hij zijn oratie uit in het Administratiegebouw van de universiteit. Zijn huidige onderzoek gaat voornamelijk over de
ontwikkeling van financiële markten in Europa voor de industriële revolutie.
Arnoud Boot (Universiteit van Amsterdam) is op 12 december jl.
benoemd tot erelid van de Koninklijke Vereniging voor de Staathuishoudkunde. Ook heeft hij op die dag het voorzitterschap
van de KVS overgedragen aan Bas Jacobs (Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam).

ESB-winterpuzzel
Het antwoord op de ESB-winterpuzzel uit ESB 4699-4700 was ‘Tirole la France’.
Uit de vele juiste inzendingen is J.T.E.M. Smit uit Hoorn gekozen tot prijswinnaar.
