The ESB-Dossier Women in Economics has put the underrepresentation of female academic staff on the agenda. Here we will investigate whether any differences in rank and salary between female and male as well as between Dutch and non-Dutch staff exist within the Netherlands’ largest economics department, the Erasmus School of Economics.
