Symposium: Compliance & integrity management

“Management of compliance and integrity risks is organized via multiple lines of defense, as well within as outside the organization. Successful risk mitigation requires a careful balance between conflict and cooperation between the lines of defense. In this symposium, we aim to initiate an open discussion on how compliance and integrity management can be effectively organized in the future, addressing questions such as these: How can we effectively collaborate as lines of defense in the organization? What is the optimal balance between countervailing power and business partner, between cooperation and conflict? Should we maintain all the different lines of defense?
